Exeter Chiefs prop Moray Low has been in the Scotland squad for their upcoming Autumn internationals.

The 31-year-old is one of three players based in the Aviva Premiership – the others being skipper Greig Laidlaw and centre Duncan Taylor – who have been named by head coach Vern Cotter.
Scotland will tackle Australia, Argentina and Georgia on successive weekends in November and Low will be hoping to add to his tally of 34 international caps during that period.

His cause will be helped by the fact that WP Nel aggravated an existing injury in Edinburgh's win over Harlequins at the weekend and requires rest.

His absence means that Glasgow's in-form 20-year-old Zander Fagerson, whose one cap came in the defeat by England in February, returns to the squad.

Scotland squad: Allan Dell (Edinburgh), Alasdair Dickinson (Edinburgh), Zander Fagerson (Glasgow), Moray Low (Exeter Chiefs), Gordon Reid (Glasgow), Ross Ford (Edinburgh, Fraser Brown (Glasgow), Stuart McInally (Edinburgh), Grant Gilchrist (Edinburgh), Jonny Gray (Glasgow), Richie Gray (Toulouse), Tim Swinson (Glasgow), John Barclay (Scarlets), John Hardie (Edinburgh), Rob Harley (Glasgow), Josh Strauss (Glasgow), Hamish Watson (Edinburgh), Ryan Wilson (Glasgow), Greig Laidlaw (Gloucester, capt), Henry Pyrgos (Glasgow), Pete Horne (Glasgow), Finn Russell (Glasgow), Mark Bennett (Glasgow), Alex Dunbar (Glasgow), Huw Jones (Stormers), Duncan Taylor (Saracens), Damien Hoyland (Edinburgh), Sean Maitland (Saracens), Tommy Seymour (Glasgow), Tim Visser (Harlequins), Stuart Hogg (Glasgow)
