Aviva, proud title sponsor of Premiership Rugby, is offering grassroots rugby clubs across the UK the chance to win £2,000 worth of kit and equipment, and a training session with Aviva Premiership Rugby club coaches, as part of its campaign to celebrate the inclusive and diverse nature of the sport from the amateur level to the elite.

The competition launched by Aviva, now in its eighth season as title sponsor of England’s elite rugby competition, not only aims to celebrate the grassroots level of the game but also to recognise the significant value local amateur clubs bring to their communities up and down the country. From junior teams to veteran teams, wheelchair rugby to walking rugby, women’s teams to mixed ability rugby, deaf rugby to blind rugby, teams and clubs from all areas and formats of the game have the opportunity to secure Gilbert kit and equipment from Aviva.

Grassroots rugby plays an important role in local communities, which is why Aviva is committed to supporting these clubs with vital funding, so they can continue to embody and represent the inclusive, fun and loyal nature of the sport.

The 12 winning clubs, who will be selected by a panel of judges from Aviva and Premiership Rugby, will have the chance to choose from a wide range of Gilbert kit and equipment, best suited for their needs, up to the value of £2,000. Not only that, they will also win a training session delivered by the local Aviva Premiership Rugby club.

To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize, entrants simply have to tell Aviva why they should receive the kit and training session in a maximum of 300 words.

To register to enter your submission, visit www.aviva.co.uk/grassroots, complete the application form and press ‘submit’.

The closing date for entry is 5pm on Friday, 5th January 2018. Please note, the competition is open to UK-based amateur rugby clubs only.
