Sandy Park will be full to the rafters as Exeter Chiefs prepare to tackle local rivals Bath Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership on Sunday (3pm).

The last few remaining tickets for the game were sold today, ensuring a capacity crowd of 12,800 will be in attendance for the eagerly-anticipated Round 17 match-up.

Sunday’s clash will be only the third Premiership home game of 2019 for the Chiefs, but fans of the table-toppers need not worry too much as there are still three scheduled home games to come between now and the end of the season.

After the Bath match, Rob Baxter’s side have further home dates against Wasps on Sunday, April 14; Harlequins on Saturday, April 27; before Northampton Saints visit on Saturday, May 18.

Like the Bath game, the Chiefs are expecting all three remaining home games to sell-out based on current ticket sales. Supporters who have yet to purchase tickets for these games are advised to do so now, so as to avoid any disappointment.

Tony Rowe OBE, Chairman and Chief Executive of Exeter Rugby Club, said: “We are now heading into the final quarter of the season, a period in which a lot can be determined in terms of outcomes at both ends of the Premiership table.

“Not surprisingly, Sunday’s game with Bath is a sell-out, but we expect our remaining home games to follow suit. This weekend’s game will be our seventh sell-out of the season – and as a club we are averaging well over 11,800 for our home games. Moving forward, we only expect that figure to rise further between now and the end of the season.”

Exeter’s impressive crowds have been highlighted by a record-breaking year of season tickets sold by the Devon club. Over 5,400 supporters signed up for a season ticket, ensuring they had their place at every home fixture, including games for the Chiefs, Braves and Academy sides.

Already the Chiefs have launched their season ticket offers for the 2019/20 season, offering an adult ticket package from as little as £34 per month using an 11-month, interest-free instalment plan. Existing season ticket holders will have their ticket/tickets reserved for purchase until 5pm on Sunday, April 28, after which time they will be released for general sale.

As well as being the most cost-effective way to attend fixtures at Sandy Park, being a season ticket holder also gives you priority access to all progression games, as well as club shop and bar discounts, as well as access to the Exeter Chiefs Season Ticket Holder Advantage Scheme.
