Bradley to leave Chiefs at the end of the season
Exeter Chiefs Women scrum-half Brooke Bradley has confirmed she will leave the club at the conclusion of the 2023/24 Allianz PWR season.
The London-born half-back will leave Sandy Park after three seasons, in which she made 57 appearances, scored seven tries and helped Chiefs to two Allianz Cup wins. She was also called up to the England training camp ahead of the Six Nations earlier this year.
“Brooke has really flourished this season as our starting scrum-half and she is one of those players who gets better the more she plays,” said head coach Susie Appleby. “We are obviously sad to see her go but we also appreciate players have lives outside rugby that may take them to other places in the country, so we wish her all the very best.”
Bradley was given a chance to claim the number nine jersey following the departure of Flo Robinson to Harlequins at the end of last season. The 25-year-old started 19 out of 21 games this season and played two games at full-back.
“'I've had an amazing time as an Exeter Chief and I've made some lifelong friends," said Bradley. " I would like to express my gratitude to the coaches for consistently pushing my development and, especially, to the fans for their incredible support."
Bradley’s rugby journey began at Exmouth RFC as a 13-year-old. She represented Devon at U15s and U18s before ultimately progressing to England U20s in 2017. While at club level, she joined Worcester Warriors in 2018 before moving back to Exeter.
The club would like to thank Brooke for everything she has given to Chiefs Women, and everyone wishes her all the best for the future.
