BT Sport set for action-packed weekend

Sunday's clash between Exeter Chiefs and Wasps will wrap-up another action-packed weekend of action in Round 19 of the Gallagher Premiership on BT Sport.

Sandy Park is set for another sell-out crowd as Rob Baxter's side look to maintain their impressive run of form in the top flight against the visiting Midlanders.

The Chiefs have already assured themselves of home advantage in the end of season play-offs with their 52-20 victory at Leicester Tigers last Saturday, but Director of Rugby Baxter insists there will be no let-up from his side despite qualifying in record time.

They are part of BT Sport's three-game offering this weekend, which kicks-off on Friday with Leicester's trip to Newcastle Falcons from 7pm onwards on BT Sport 1.

A bonus point win for bottom-side Newcastle will be a tough ask, but if they can do it they will give themselves a chance to leapfrog their match-day opponents and climb off the foot of the standings.

Meanwhile, Leicester’s own survival hopes will be boosted if they can win and put daylight between themselves and the Falcons – it is all on the line at Kingston Park under the Friday night lights.

On Saturday, so much more than just local bragging rights are up for grabs in the latest installation of the West Country derby.

Third-placed Gloucester will welcome rivals Bath and if results go their way the hosts could confirm their semi-final spot with a win at Kingsholm.

Meanwhile Bath will have one eye on the same prize as they currently sit four points behind Harlequins who occupy the fourth and final qualifying position. You can catch all of that from 2.30pm onwards on BT Sport 3 and 2.45pm on Channel 5.

And Sunday will see the Chiefs take on Wasps at Sandy Park from 2.30pm onwards on BT Sport 1 and 4k UHD.
