Exeter Chiefs will kick-off their European Champions Cup campaign with a home encounter against Glasgow Warriors at Sandy Park.
The English Premiership champions will play host to the Scottish outfit in Pool 3 of the competition on Saturday, October 14 with a 7:45pm kick-off.
The Chiefs will then ready themselves for a trip across the English Channel for Round 2, when they will tackle French Top 14 opponents Montpellier at the Altrad Stadium on Sunday, October 22 (3pm).
Europe’s top club competition will then kick back into life in December with the traditional back-to-back fixtures, which this season will see Rob Baxter’s side face Leinster Rugby on successive weekends.
The first encounter against the Irishmen will take place at Sandy Park on Sunday, December 10 (5:30pm), before the two clubs lock horns at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday, December 16 (3:15pm).
Again, the competition will have a short break before it kicks back into life in January when the Chiefs entertain Montpellier in Round 5, before wrapping up the group stages with a trip to Glasgow’s Scotstoun Stadium.
Dates and kick-off times for the final two rounds have yet to be finalised as EPCR will await the broadcast picks for these games. They will, however, take place over the weekends of January 12-14 and January 19-21.
