Chiefs bid to bounce back at Worcester

Exeter Chiefs will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they travel to Worcester Warriors on Friday night in one of two gripping Round Three Premiership Rugby Cup action will be shown live on BT Sport this weekend.

It will be Exeter's third TV appearance in as many games, having previously been screened live in their 28-14 win over Bath on the opening day, then again last Friday when they went down 27-7 to a strong Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

The Warriors, meanwhile, have collected try bonus points in both of their first two games, with an impressive 57-23 win over Leicester Tigers followed by a 36-28 defeat away at Bath.

Worcester sit top of Pool 3 and will be hoping to stretch their one-point advantage with a win against Rob Baxter's sideat Sixways on Friday, a match that is live on BT Sport 1 and BT Ultimate, with-kick off at 19:45pm and coverage starting 15 minutes earlier.

Experienced top-flight official JP Doyle will be in charge of Friday's match.

On Sunday, reigning Champions Northampton Saints host old foes Saracens live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate, with kick-off at 15:00 and coverage starting at 14:45.

The Saints have endured a slow start to their Premiership Rugby Cup title defence, falling to a 39-18 defeat at Sale Sharks in Round One, before being edged 36-32 by Wasps a week later.

Saracens have had mixed fortunes thus far, with a 50-28 win at Wasps followed by a 36-17 loss to Sale, and with everything to play for fans should be in for a treat at Franklin’s Gardens.

The other encounter in Pool 1 sees Sale host Wasps, while Leicester travel to Bath in Pool 3’s other Round Three match.

Meanwhile, Harlequins will look to continue their 100% record against winless Gloucester in Pool 2, while Bristol Bears entertain London Irish at Ashton Gate.

Once again, Channel 5 will offer an opportunity to catch up with all the weekend’s games with a designated highlights programme at 19:00 on Monday evening, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment.
