Chiefs set for more airtime on BT Sport

Exeter Chiefs are set for more airtime on BT Sport in the New Year after a number of their Gallagher Premiership fixtures were confirmed for live coverage.

In the latest TV picks confirmed by Premiership Rugby for Rounds 18-20, Rob Baxter’s side will appear twice before the cameras.

The first of those picks sees Exeter’s trip to Northampton Saints switched to Sunday, February 27 with a 1pm kick-off, before the broadcaster head west a week later to screen the visit of Sale Sharks to Sandy Park on Sunday, March 6 (3pm).

Exeter’s Round 20 trip to Worcester Warriors is not amongst the live picks and will go ahead on Saturday, March 12 with a 2:30pm kick-off.

Other live games planned for the Chiefs on BT Sport include the New Year’s Day showdown with Bristol Bears at Sandy Park (4.30pm), followed a week later with a re-run of last season’s Premiership final when Harlequins provide the opposition at the Twickenham Stoop on January 8 (3pm).

Ahead of the Northampton clash at the end of February, Exeter’s trip to Newcastle Falcons on February 20 will be screened live with another 3pm kick-off.
