Chiefs trio in England squad

Exeter Chiefs trio Jonny Hill, Sam Simmonds and Henry Slade have all been named in an updated 35-player England squad for next week’s Test match against Tonga.

Eddie Jones will use this week to further prepare his side for the first of their Autumn Nations Series to be played at Twickenham on Saturday, October 6 (3:15pm).

After this weekend, England will then host Australia on Saturday,November 13 (5.30pm) before facing world champions South Africa on Saturday, November 20 (3.15pm).

Elsewhere in the squad, Bristol's Harry Randall has withdrawn from the squad with a hip flexor injury, while Harlequins’ Louis Lynagh and Northampton Saints’ Alex Mitchell have been added to the squad, who met up on Sunday at Pennyhill Park after spending the week training in Jersey.
