Exeter Chiefs Under-18s programme manager Marc Dibble says his side are looking forward to kicking off their Premiership Rugby Under-18s League campaign against Bath at Truro College tomorrow (12pm).

After weeks of training, the young Chiefs will get the chance to put their hard work into practice against their near neighbours.

“We had had a good block of sessions over the Christmas period to prep us for this game and the remainder of the season,” said Dibble. “We have an exciting group that have put a lot of hard work in over the last few weeks and we’re excited to see how they go.

“Past experience tells us Bath will be tough opponents, but if we can implement what we have been working on, then there is no reason why we can’t come out with a positive performance and result.”

The Chiefs will be captained on the day by full-back Louie Drennan, who along with No.8 Barnaby Elderkin was called into the England Under-18s regional camp back in November.

Scrum-half Max Fergusson was also called into the Welsh training camp the same month, while centre George Edson was part of the England Under-18s squad who toured South Africa in the summer.

Entry to tomorrow’s game is free for everyone and the Time Out Cafe, located in the Lynher Building, will be open for refreshments.
