A number of the region’s highly-rated youngsters will get their chance to impress when they line-up for an Exeter Chiefs Outreach Under-23s side against Ivybridge RFC on Wednesday night (7:30pm).

Having already beaten the Royal Navy Under-23s 36-7 in atrocious conditions at Devonport Services last month, the young Chiefs will now be looking to add the scalp of their Devon hosts to their list.

Coaches Ricky Pellow and Louis Tonkin will oversee the Chiefs Outreach group, which last season identified young gun Tom Wyatt, who has since joined the club’s senior squad and featured in both the Premiership Rugby Cup and Premiership Rugby Shield.

The Outreach squad is pieced together by local players from across Devon and Cornwall
