Chiefs Women sign experienced international winger Poulin
Exeter Chiefs Women have added the experience and speed of international winger Sabrina Poulin to their ranks.
The 31-year-old has 14 international caps for Canada having made her debut against England in 2018. She went onto play in the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup.
An equally skilled sevens player, Poulin will bring a wealth of experience to the Chiefs squad.
Head coach Susie Appleby said: “Sabrina is the latest Canadian to join our club ahead of next season. We have been in touch for a couple of seasons now. She has gained invaluable experience competing in France and on the sevens circuit, and now is the right time to bring her over.
“She will add real X factor to our back three and is also able to play centre; she is a very good, versatile player.”
Poulin has spent the last season playing for sevens for Canada. She was also part of the squad that took the Pacific Four Series title in May this year.
She said: “I am very excited to join Chiefs and I am thrilled for the opportunity with and against the best rugby players in the world.”
