Chiefs Women to face Bristol Bears in Allianz Cup semi-final

Holders Exeter Chiefs will tackle neighbours Bristol Bears in the semi-final of this season’s Allianz Cup.

Susie Appleby’s side will make the short jaunt up the M5 in a bid to reach the final for a second successive season.

In the other semi-final, Gloucester-Hartpury will play host to Loughborough Lightning or Saracens.

The semi-final matches will be played on the weekend of 22/23 April.

In the fifth place play-off, Harlequins will travel to Loughborough Lightning or Saracens, while the University of Worcester Warriors host Sale Sharks or Wasps.

In the first of a two legged ninth place play-off, Sale Sharks or Wasps will face DMP Sharks.

The final, third, fifth and seventh place play-off, as well as the ninth placed play-off (2nd leg) will be played on April 30.
