Coach Development Event: Creating a more effective approach to learning in your coaching practice

Richard Cheetham is a Senior Fellow at Winchester University and has a reputation at national and international level in coach education and development with his work ranging from rugby union to canoeing and professional cycling with the UCI.

Richard's research, publications and conference presentations have focussed on developing a more holistic approach to coaching as well as encouraging creativity and innovation in practice session design. In 2018 he was awarded the UK Coaching Awards - Coach Developer of the Year.

The 2nd October 2023 session is the first of two linked sessions that Richard will be providing this season with the second session taking place on Monday 22nd January 2024. It would be beneficial to attend both sessions but not essential.

Exeter Chiefs Academy Coach Development sessions are for rugby coaches who coach at Devon or Cornwall clubs and/or schools. It is free to attend.
