Community Chiefs celebrate a successful August with Train Like A Chief holiday camps
The Community Chiefs have enjoyed a fantastic August, running their popular Train Like A Chief holiday camps across Cornwall, Somerset, and Devon.
Over the course of 11 camps, we were thrilled to welcome more than 360 young participants, all eager to experience top-level rugby training and have fun.
Our camps, developed and designed by a team of professional coaches, use the most up-to-date techniques to offer young players the best possible insight into the modern-day game. Whether held over one or two days, these player development courses take place at various locations, including Sandy Park, local schools, and rugby clubs across the region. The camps cater for both boys and girls aged 6-13, offering them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in rugby life at a top Gallagher Premiership club.
Participants not only learn the fundamental aspects of the game but also work to improve their skills through a variety of activities and match-like scenarios. The primary goal of the Chiefs’ Community team is to inspire and encourage young players to reach their full potential, fostering a love for the game and helping them become the best they can be.
With the success of our August camps, we are excited to announce that the Train Like A Chief October half-term camp locations have been confirmed. Bookings are now available, so be sure to check out the full details and secure your place!
