Thousands of Exeter Chiefs supporters packed the city’s quayside for the launch of the club’s new home and cup kits for the 2019/20 season.

Returning to the heart of the city once again to reveal their new playing strips, the Chiefs used the highly popular Piazza Terracina and River Exe as the perfect backdrop to showcase the products produced by Samurai Sportswear.

Just as it was the previous year, the Exeter waterway was again central to the unveiling as a number of Rob Baxter's first-team squad jumped into two Dragon Boats to offer supporters their first glimpse of the two new kits.

Supporters not only got the chance to get up close and personal with their favourite stars, but they were also able to engage with many of the club’s kit sponsors, whilst young children were able to test their rugby skills on the Community Chiefs passing wall.

The two mobile Trading Post stores did a roaring trade throughout the course of the afternoon as supporters wasted little time in getting their hands on the new jerseys.

Entertainment throughout the course of the day was provided by the excellent Taiko Drummers, whilst the Chain Ferry rides proved popular throughout the course of the day.

Exeter Rugby Club would like to thank the following organisations for their assistance in helping to put on the event: Exeter City Council, Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, Taiko Drummers, Exeter Cookery School, Blu Fox Face Painting, Butts Chain Ferry, Quay Climbing Centre, Saddles and Paddles, Topsham Brewey, Venezia Restauraunt, Rockfish, Willows Massage Therapist, On The Waterfront, West Country Potters, Tenpin Exeter, Boatyard Bakery, North Barbers, Goodwood Cellars Gift Shop, ROCK Chiropractic Health Centre.

The new kit is available to buy now from the Online Shop and the Trading Post at Sandy Park.
