The weekend’s Gallagher Premiership Rugby action features a repeat of last season’s semi-final on Friday night as Exeter Chiefs travel to Newcastle Falcons in one of three live games to be shown on BT Sport this weekend.

Dean Richards' side reached their first-ever semi-final last year, going down to Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park, and the teams will meet in this Round 4 fixture at Kingston Park on BT Sport 1 from 7pm.

The table-topping Chiefs are already flying high at the summit of the table with 15 points from a possible 15, with the Devon club boasting both the best attack and defence in the league so far.

Falcons, by contrast, lost their first two matches, but got off the mark on Saturday with a narrow victory away to Worcester Warriors.

Referee for Friday's clash will be Andrew Jackson, who will be taking charge of his 16th top flight fixture. He was the official in charge for the same fixture last season, when the Falcons 28-20 in the first game of 2018.

Jackson will be assisted on the night by Hamish Smales and John Meredith with Graham Hughes as the TV match official.
