Wales returned to winning ways as they showed grit and determination to see off a spirited Georgia side and record a 13-6 win at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

A first half try from winger Hallam Amos, together with eight points from the boot of fly-half Rhys Priestland, proved enough for Warren Gatland’s side to see off the Eastern Europeans in their second Autumn international.

In reply, full-back Ioseb Matiashvili landed two penalties for the visitors, who came strong in the latter stages when the Welsh were reduced to 14 men following a yellow card for Exeter Chiefs prop Tomas Francis, who had been penalised for entering the ruck from the wrong side.
