Friday's Cup clash live on BT Sport

Exeter Chiefs' trip to Leicester Tigers on Friday night is one of two fixtures that will be shown live on BT Sport this weekend.

Rob Baxter's side make the trip to Welford Road on Friday night (7:45pm) looking to build on last Saturday's opening round win in Pool 3 against Bath in this season's Premiership Rugby Cup.

The Chiefs secured a 28-14 victory over their Westcountry rivals at Sandy Park, while the Tigers lost 57-23 at the hands of a rampant Worcester Warriors.

Reigning Champions Northampton’s game will also be shown live on Saturday, this time on BT Sport 3 and BT Sport Ultimate with kick-off at 3pm and coverage starting at 2.45pm.

The hosts will be hoping to bounce back at Franklin’s Gardens after they lost their opening Pool 1 encounter in defence of the title, losing 39-18 at Sale Sharks.

Wasps will also be seeking their first win of the campaign after they were defeated 50-28 at home by the reigning Gallagher Premiership Rugby Champions Saracens in their opening bout.

The other encounter in Pool 1 will see the Men in Black go head-to-head with Sale at Allianz Park while Bath Rugby take on Worcester at the Recreation Ground in Pool 3.

Meanwhile, London Irish and Harlequins got off to winning starts in the opening round and they will play each other in Pool 2, as Bristol Bears and Gloucester Rugby battle in the other encounter.
