Gauzere in charge of Warriors clash

Frenchman Pascal Gauzere will take charge of Saturday's Heineken Champions Cup encounter between Exeter Chiefs and Glasgow Warriors at Sandy Park (3:15pm).

He will be assisted on the day by Maxime Chalon and Jonathan Dufort with Eric Gauzins acting as the TV match official.

It's not the first time Gauzere has been in the middle for a Chiefs fixture. Last season he oversaw Gloucester's 27-19 victory at Sandy Park in the Champions Cup.

Saturday's clash will be the fifth time the Chiefs and the Warriors have met in the competition - with the Scotsmen having claimed three victories to Exeter's one.

However, the Chiefs have lost their opening home game of the season in just one of their last five Champions Cup campaign, that defeat coming against Clermont Auvergne in 2016/17.

Saturday's game is one of ten that will be broadcast live by BT Sport across the weekend.
