Match Report: Bath U18 33 - 0 Chiefs U18
Exeter Chiefs U18s started their league campaign with a tough battle against last season's champions in Bath U18s.
Tough condition didn’t allow either side to play an open fluent game with Bath managing to dominate the tight plays and adapt to the conditions better.
Chiefs started well and dominated possession and field position but were unable to capitalise on the early pressure. Bath finished the first half strong and were clinical going into half time 19-0 up.
The second half followed a very similar trend and Bath were able to score two more converted tries making the final score 33-0 to Bath.
Chiefs had some good moments to build on for next week where we will be hoping for some better conditions to impose what we have been working on in the lead up to last weekend's game.
Exeter Chiefs U18s look forward to welcoming Harlequins to Truro College in a double header with the U17s on Saturday 11th January.
