More TV time for Chiefs on BT Sport

Exeter Chiefs can expect more on-field exposure after two of their future fixtures were confirmed as part of the TV picks for Rounds 18 & 19 in this season’s Gallagher Premiership.

The BT Sport cameras will be in place as Rob Baxter’s side make the trip to Welford Road on Saturday, April 6 to face Leicester Tigers (4:30pm) - and they will head to Sandy Park the following week when the Chiefs play host to Wasps on Sunday, April 14 (3pm).

The two fixtures are part of an acti0n-packed schedule of action on the box. It also includes’ Bath’s annual trip to Twickenham Stadium for The Clash on Saturday, April 5.

This season Bristol Bears are making the trip to HQ to take on Bath Rugby, re-igniting one of the game’s longest-running rivalries, which stretches back 131 years to 1888. The Bears won an unforgettable opening day Gallagher Premiership Rugby match with Bath Rugby, 17-10, back in September.

Round 18 of kicks-off at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday, April 4, April) where Harlequins are the visitors, and following The Clash, BT Sport will also show the Chiefs’ trip to Leicester. It all concludes on Sunday, April 7 when Northampton Saints host Gloucester Rugby at 3pm.

The live rugby kicks off the following weekend (Round 19) with Leicester Tigers’ trip to Kingston Park to take on Newcastle Falcons, before moving to Kingsholm for another red-letter day in the rugby calendar: Gloucester Rugby v Bath Rugby.

The third live match in Round 19 is from Sandy Park, when Wasps arrive in Devon to take on the Chiefs.
