Packexe behind Chiefs in Europe

The opening round of this season’s European Champions Cup is eagerly anticipated by rugby fans across the continent, but especially by Exeter-based Packexe.

The company, who produce innovative film and packaging solutions, have sponsored Exeter Chiefs for the past four seasons, but this year have enhanced their sponsorship package to include branding on the Chiefs’ European kit.

Andrew Orchard, Chief Executive of Packexe, said: “We’ve followed the club for some time and this year seemed it seemed right to step up our commitment as the Chiefs look to fly the flag through the continent.

“For our global client base, the branding will ensure Packexe is aligned next to an equally successful export from the South West.

“On a lighter note, my French wife Sabine was especially taken by the colour scheme on the European kit and I was delighted when the opportunity to be on it was presented to us.”

Exeter Chiefs Sales Manager Chris Bentley said: “not only have Packexe stepped to key sponsor status this term, they also supply Physiowrap and are a great example of a mutually rewarding combination.I look forward to seeing the team go into battle proudly displaying the Packexe mark.”
