Richardson Signs for Glasgow Warriors for 2024/25 Season
Exeter Chiefs prop Fin Richardson has agreed a move to Glasgow Warriors for the 2024/25 season.
25-year-old Richardson is another product of the University of Exeter player pathway programme fostered by the Chiefs. Part of the university’s BUCS winning side, he combined playing with his law degree studies.
Originally introduced to rugby as a nine-year-old at Cargilfield Prep School in Edinburgh, the young prop went on to an education at the well known Merchiston Castle School before making the move to the Southwest.
Since being a part of the Chiefs set-up, Richardson has spent time on dual-registration and loan to both Plymouth Albion in National League One and Cornish Pirates in the RFU Championship.
Richardson has enjoyed his time in Devon, and Cornwall during his loan spell, and is looking forward to joining a new squad at Scotstoun Stadium.
“I have a lot to thank Exeter for and I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had with the Chiefs, Pirates and the university but the time is right for me to return home and build on my ambitions for international rugby.
“There’s a huge opportunity for young tightheads and moving to Glasow is going to give me the best possible chance.”
Richardson has previously represented Scotland at U20s level and hopes to move into the periphery of international selection by developing in a Scottish environment.
The club would like to thank Fin for his time as an Exeter Chief and wish him well for the future.
