Ridley in charge of Wasps clash

Each round of Gallagher Premiership Rugby throws up a variety of thrills and spills, but a group of experienced officials will once again supply a firm hand on the tiller this weekend.

Christophe Ridley will run the rule over Saturday’s mouth-watering meeting between Wasps and Exeter Chiefs at the Ricoh Arena, a game broadcast live on BT Sport.

Alongside Ridley will be assistants Jack Makepeace and Simon McConnell, with Citing Officer duties handed to Andy Blyth and Trevor Fisher as TMO.

After a 75th outing in Gallagher Premiership Rugby last weekend at Kingsholm, Matthew Carley takes charge of Newcastle Falcons’ visit to Welford Road to face Leicester Tigers.

Bristol Bears will attempt to breach fortress Allianz Park, where Saracens have won their last eight Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches, on Saturday with Andrew Jackson as referee.

Saturday’s teatime televised clash is a West Country affair between Bath Rugby and Gloucester Rugby where Luke Pearce will be the man in the middle.

The BT Sport cameras visit Franklin’s Gardens on Friday night as Northampton Saints host Harlequins, a game presided over by Tom Foley.

Foley’s assistants will be Anthony Woodthorpe and Peter Allan, while Graham Hughes acts as TMO and Paul Hull as Citing Officer.

And JP Doyle, with 154 Gallagher Premiership games under his belt, takes charge of Sunday’s clash between Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors at the AJ Bell Stadium.
