As part of an exciting new initiative for the 2024/25 season, Exeter Chiefs players and coaches will be hosting exclusive ‘Rugby Masterclass’ sessions ahead of each home game at Sandy Park. These 30-minute sessions offer a unique opportunity for fans to deepen their understanding of the game, providing insights from the very players and coaches who bring the action to life on the pitch.

The motivation behind this initiative is simple: to bring fans closer to the sport they love by helping them explore the strategic and technical elements of rugby. Whether it’s a recent law change, the intricacies of attacking structures, or mastering the precision of kick battles, these sessions will offer expert guidance to give you a deeper appreciation for the game.

Kicking off this weekend, the debut masterclass will be hosted by former Chiefs player Chris Bentley alongside veteran referee Andrew Pearce. Together, they will break down key elements of the game, sharing insider knowledge and tips that will enhance your matchday experience.

As if that’s not enough, this first session will be given an extra boost with a special appearance by England international Henry Slade, making it an unmissable event for any Chiefs fan.

Our Rugby Masterclasses will take place in the Powderham Bar, and fans attending the masterclass can also enjoy 50p off pints during the event, which runs from 12:30 – 13:00 this Saturday —the perfect warm-up before the big match kicks off.

This is just the beginning of a season full of unforgettable moments at Sandy Park, and we can’t wait for you to join us. Whether you’re a rugby fanatic or just beginning to explore the game, the Rugby Masterclass is an ideal way to get closer to the action and learn from the best. Don't miss out on the chance to enhance your match day experience with this exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the game.

See you at Sandy Park this weekend!
