Two Huge Champions Cup Games Coming to Sandy Park
Two French juggernauts are coming to Sandy Park in the 2024/25 Champions Cup.
Reigning Champions Cup and French Top 14 winners, Stade Toulousain, and runners-up Bordeaux Begles will be bringing their star power to Sandy Park this season for what will be two of the most highly anticipated games of the Chiefs’ season.
Chiefs will kick-off the 2024/25 campaign in a Pool One clash against South African powerhouses Hollywoodbets Sharks in Durban on Saturday, December 7 (KO 15:00 local time).
The opening weekend will mark the first meeting between the two sides as Rob Baxter’s men have never come up against the United Rugby Championship (URC) side despite previous wins against South African sides, DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls during the 2022/23 campaign.
Round two will see French side Stade Toulousain arrive at Sandy Park for an evening under the lights. A re-match of the 2023/24 quarter final will take place on Sunday, December 15 (KO 17:30).
The champion side will make the trip to Devon for the first time since September 2020 when Chiefs came out on top on their way to a first Champions Cup final and ultimately, the title.
In the New Year, round three brings the challenge of going head-to-head with another French giant as Chiefs take on Union Bordeaux Begles at Sandy Park on Saturday, January 11 (KO 15:15).
The pool stages will then wrap-up with a trip to the Kingspan Stadium to take on Ulster Rugby in a Friday night clash on January 17 (KO 20:00).
Ticket windows for all home games will be confirmed at a later date.
Currently, the only way to secure your seat for these huge games will be with a 2024/25 Exeter Chiefs Season Ticket, which can be purchased here.
