Vintcent features in Italian victory

Exeter Chiefs youngster Ross Vintcent featured for the full 80 minutes as Italy A proved far too strong for Romania in their friendly clash in Viadana at the weekend.

Vintcent, who combines life at the Chiefs with studying at the University of Exeter, lined-up in the back-row for the Azzurri, who despite falling behind to an early penalty from full-back Paul Popopaia, ran out comfortable 64-3 victors.

Tries from Pierre Bruno, Filippo Drago, Manfredi Albanese (2), Tommaso Di Bartolomeo, Giovanni Pettinelli, Alessandro Izekor, Edoardo Iachizzi, Matteo Moscardi and Alessandro Fusco did much of the damage with the remainder of the points coming from the boot of Giacomo Da Re and Nicolo Teneggi.
