Dan John
Highly talented Welshman Dan John joined the Chiefs Academy ahead of the 2020/21 season having been signed by the club during his last year of schooling at Millfield School.
A gifted footballer, who can play full-back, centre or fly-half, he started playing rugby at the age of seven for his local club, Llantwit Faerdref, up until the age of 12.
He stopped playing rugby for the next four years, opting to try his hand at football. However, he got back into playing the game when he moved to Hong Kong with his family.
His talents are clear to see and already in a short space of time, the Chiefs coaches have seen enough of his initial development to involve him with the first team in the Gallagher Premiership.
Son of former Cardiff and Pontypridd coach, Paul John, he made his top-flight debut in March 2021, coming off the bench in an Exeter victory over Leicester Tigers at Sandy Park..
He has previously represented Wales at Under 20s, U19s and U18s level.
