Jack Innard
Young Cornishman Jack Innard only took up playing rugby after his local football team folded, but it proved a shrewd decision as he has since gone on to establish himself within the game.
Innard initially started out with Falmouth before moving on to Truro, where he was also at college, and became part of the Exeter Chiefs Academy system.
Having previously played at both flanker and centre in the past, Innard finally found his position in the number two jersey where he honed his trade playing Championship rugby with Cornish Pirates.
Regular game time in the Championship helped to develop Innard, who underlined his worth to the Chiefs when he scored the opening try in their Anglo-Welsh Cup Final win against Bath at Kingsholm.
Now very much part-and-parcel of the Chiefs first team ranks, Innard is regularly challenging for a spot in the match-day 23 with his all-action style and has amassed just shy of 75 appearances so far.
