Described by Academy manager Robin Cowling as a "student of the game", Marcus Street moved into the senior ranks at Chiefs ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The highly rated prop is another who has come through the club's Academy system, initially at Bicton College, then with Exeter College with whom he helped to lift the National AASE League title in November 2016.

A player with a big future in the game ahead of him, Street honed his senior credentials down at Plymouth Albion, where he spent time on dual-registration, as well as featuring for the Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup and Exeter Braves in the A League.

In what was a fantastic 2016/17 season for Street, he not only made his debut start for the Chiefs against Cardiff Blues in November 2016, but he was also part of the England Under 20s squad for both the Six Nations and Junior World Championships, two years ahead of his actual age group.

Since then, he has continued to flourish within the Chiefs ranks – working with the club's coaching staff, as well as experienced international stars such as Harry Williams, Tomas Francis and Greg Holmes to help develop his front-row play. Now with over 70 first team appearances to his name, much is expected of the highly rated tighthead.
