New Zealand-born scrum-half Sammy Wong has been part and parcel of the women’s Premiership since arriving in London ahead of the 2016/17 season. She has played for Wasps Ladies and Bristol Bears.
When she began playing rugby with her friends at primary school, Wong may not have believed she would end up playing for Otago Spirit and Pirates Rugby Dunedin, let alone the Barbarians in front of a record-breaking crowd at Twickenham.
