Eoin O'Connor
A new face to the Chiefs first team ranks ahead of the 2023/24 season, the Irish-born forward is one for the future according to Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter.
A product of Munster Rugby's Academy set-up for three years, more recently he had broken into the senior ranks featuring for the province in both the United Rugby Championship and Heineken Champions Cup.
Highly-rated back in his native Ireland, O’Connor is certainly a formidable force, standing at 6ft 7ins and topping the scales at 17 stone, but he admits he is relishing his first crack at top-flight rugby in England.
O’Connor admits he learned an incredible amount from coaches and players like Tadhg Beirne, RG Snyman, Fineen Wycherley, Craig Casey and Peter O’Mahony at Munster who were pivotal to his development.
However, the chance to test himself in a new environment and a new league across the Irish Sea was something that appealed to O’Connor.
